GIFTS FROM THE BABY :)

Is it perhaps a form of bribery? The gift from the new baby to the older child? Yes, probably. But all of these online images of toddlers loving-on their baby siblings really only show a snapshot in time. That small glimpse of the love to come is wonderful… but the reality is that new babies really aren’t that appealing to your first born.

They make too much noise. They demand too much time. They smell funny and the first and foremost love of your life is now too busy to spend all of her time with you.

There basically needs to be a trade-off. A gift. A toy. Something special to make this new, rather dull person worthwhile.

We chose the ‘Bear’s Palace’ with King and Queen Bear and Princess Bears all in their wonderful, musical, carry around palace.. They even had beds and thrones!. And that I can tell you was MUCH more interesting than twin siblings!
